Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join us as Head of Creative Delivery, a pivotal role that provides leadership to Save the Children’s team of creatives and post-production staff.

As Head of Creative Delivery you will lead and support a team of design, editorial, film and photographic creatives, and post-production staff to deliver ground-breaking, distinctive content to internal clients and external media. You will help steer the team’s creative output to ensure we consistently produce innovative, high quality content. In addition you will:

  • Build support with internal stakeholder teams to ensure any content created receives maximum use and exposure across multiple stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities, within the overall organisational strategic objectives, for the creation of compelling content
  • Empower and inspire the creative team to develop elegant and innovative responses to creative challenges and support them to deliver these products
  • Encourage and make space for the use of new modes of visual and written communication to achieve the best results when creating content.

To be successful you will have substantial experience and demonstrable success in managing, supporting and leading a creative team in an NGO or creative agency environment. You should also have knowledge of international issues with a sound understanding of how audience profiles influence communications products. In addition you will have:

  • Demonstrable expertise in strategic thinking, project management and planning skills, including ability to think creatively and innovate
  • Experience of seeking and exploiting creative story telling opportunities in the digital space
  • Significant experience of working to client briefs and delivering against those briefs
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Sound knowledge of digital platforms and how visual creative are effectively used for marketing, campaigning and media to access to large audiences.
